Dave Barfield: Executive Director/Producer/Engineer/In-House Songwriter/Studio Musician
As the executive producer and director of operations Dave has many tasks here at HGI. One of which is being our main engineer and producer.
He has spent his entire life in the music industry from touring as a drummer in support of many national acts to writing and performing his own music
and now being a part of the exciting world of music publishing and an Independent record label. Dave’s corporate task management skills are a unique and
essential addition to the HGI team, therefore finding common ground between creativity and success.
Mary Malone: Director of A & R/Artist Development/Producer/In-House Songwriter/Studio Musician
Mary has had more than 25 years experience in the music industry as a musician and an artist/event manager. Her experience as a songwriter and A&R rep gives her the instinctive perception it takes to know “great songs” which is vital to selling music.
She has the business mind to bridge the gap between the client and the musical team creating the projects as well as the songwriting sense to choose the correct songs for each project.
Mary’s marketing and promotional skills give her the edge it takes to pitch HGI’s catalogue of songs to the right recording artists as well as to pair up our music with each client’s special needs.
Dan Helser: Financial Director/In-House Songwriter/Studio Musician
Dan is the financial and managerial force behind the scenes at HGI and is well versed in today’s industry standards.
As an experienced manager in many disciplines, his focus is on the internal workings of the business.
With enthusiasm directed toward a positive overall result through the use of a successful business plan, Dan sees each project through with competence.
Dan is also an accomplished songwriter as well as one of the originating business partners.
